UBA
The next generation NFT

A token standard designed specifically to address the shortcomings of NFT

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are in their biggest spotlight ever at the moment, however, NFT still has a lot of drawbacks when it comes to actual real-world usages, hence the need to call for a new standard – UBA.

UBA provides a standardized way to enable additional features such as transaction batching, dynamic on-chain and off-chain metadata, and universal support for royalty payments across all digital asset marketplaces and ecosystem participants which is not supported by the NFT standard.

UBA also allows users to perform true peer-to-peer transactions without needing the involvement of a third-party platform.

Backward-compatible with NFT

UBA is backward-compatible with NFT such as TRC-721 on the TRON blockchain and ERC-721 on the Ethereum blockchain. Developers can make UBA act like any TRC-721 or ERC-721 tokens simply by adding adapters so UBA can be easily integrated into existing NFT marketplace.

However, once you have learned the true potential of UBA, you may never look back at minting the simpler NFT ever again!

UBA is a community-driven project

Let's build the next-gen digital asset standard together!

The advantages of Unique Blockchain Asset

Truly Decentralized

A peer-to-peer atomic swap token transfer feature that allows a user to transfer fund into a UBA token itself and only releases the fund to the original owner when the UBA is transferred to the new owner.

Distribute Payment

An optional distribution payment system that allows the owner and/or distribution channel to collect a fixed amount or a percentage of the sale amount as a royalty for each sale transaction.

Transaction Batching

Batch multiple digital assets together as one UBA to save on transaction costs. This is especially useful for in-game items so users do not need to perform multiple repeated transactions for a simple trade.

Built-in Rental

Allow owner to rent his/her UBA out to another user in return for some profit. The renter is freely able to use the rented UBA for a predefined time recorded in the contract except for transferring the token out to another party.

True Ownership

Unlike regular NFT which are stored on a traditional web host, there are additional metadata on UBA standard to store BTFS or IPFS URI. The actual data of the digital asset is stored on the blockchain itself so user truly owns their asset.

Dynamic Metadata

With the consent of the owner, the owner may grant permission for an address to update certain on-chain metadata stored on UBA. This is especially useful for a game platform to update the properties such as level or points of a UBA.
